Ningbo Minfeng Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd., formally known as Ningbo Minfeng Industrial Co., Ltd, started to manufacture home appliances in 1995. The company moved to Yangming Technological Industrial Park in 2003, which occupied 34,000 square meters.

MINFENG is a manufacturer emphasized on production and R&D of high quality air-related products. Our R&D department has developed over 70 models of products including coolers/heaters, air purifiers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, humidifiers and ice makers. Our annual production capacity of air conditioners, coolers/heaters and dehumidifiers are 1 million, 0.6 million and 0.15 million, respectively.

MINFENG is equipped with a complete set of production and quality assurance facilities. Our facilities include two enthalpy difference testing labs, one thermal balance testing lab, one air purifier testing lab, one noise testing lab, two CNC (Computer Numeric Control) centers, fifty two injection machines (with capacity up to 1250 ton), seven automatic production lines, and other molding facilities. Our products have CE/GS, EMC, UL/cUL, ETL/cETL, etc quality certificates for different oversea markets. MINFENG has passed ISO 9001 and we are currently pursing ISO 14001. Our product development, production, and after-sale services conform to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Besides product manufacturing, MINFENG emphasizes on researching and developing higher quality appliances with better functionalities. We have setup a R&D center with China Huazhong University of Science and Technology to develop more efficient air conditioners. We have also corporate with Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) to develop higher efficiency air purifiers.

MINFNEG has more than 800 trained and motivated employees. About 100 of them have achieved college or higher degree. They are organized in departments and work at different centers. The company consists of three centers: R&D center, manufacture center, and marketing center with sub-division of administration department, refrigeration products R&D, air purifier R&D, industrial processing department, logistic department, production department, QA department, International Trade department and Finance department.

MINFENG has more than 40 engineers working in the R&D department. Our engineers have adopted the advanced CAD/CAM/CNC technologies in product developments and mold designs. We intend to develop at least 20 new models of products each year. We have obtained more than 20 patents in China. Another 10 patents are under processing.

With more than 20 professional marketers and sales representatives serving the oversea market, our products have been exported to more than 80 countries. Our sales have exceeded 18 million USD in 2004, and 19 million USD in the first half of year 2005. Ningbo MINFENG has set up a sister company “MINFENG Electrical Appliances (H.K.) Co., Ltd.” in 2004 to operate its international sales. Chinese government and Ningbo MINFENG welcome visitors from the same industry or commercial sector.
