Developers for Installed Base Maintenance & Support (IMS)

the large account segment, which is second to none in the industry. SAP
AGS (Active Global Support) provides a complete portfolio of
maintenance offerings and a comprehensive range of services that enable
customers to continually improve core business processes while
leveraging their existing solutions. All services are provided through
an efficient network that offers online access to our knowledge
databases, best practices, and sophisticated tools such as the “SAP
Solution Manager”.
The “SAP Solution Manager” is the service and
support platform, which is designed to assist customers implementing
and operating their IT solutions efficiently. Its functionality covers
all key aspects of solution deployment, operation, monitoring and
continuous improvement. To support and maintain the “SAP Solution
Manager” we are looking for developers for the IMS (Installed Base
Maintenance and Support) organization. IMS is responsible for the
maintenance and provision of, upgrade and migration offerings for
customers on mainstream releases, such as:

Deliver customer specific and standard corrections and optimize maintenance and support package strategy for mature releases

Solve complex customer problems on the Development Support Level

Continuous quality improvements
-
Cooperate with support and development units
-
Deliver expertise-on-demand for our premium customers
Responsibilities of this position:
-
Solution and monitoring of customer messages
-
Proposal, delivery and creation of new ideas for message reduction measures (e.g. FAQ, Notes)
-
Code corrections and to take over new code
-
Product improvement and stabilization
-
Delivery of valuable content for product feedback about engineering
quality on demand (product quality, supportability and maintainability
issues and functional gaps)

Avoid and handle escalated customer messages and involvement in customer escalations

Pass on knowledge to colleagues via coaching and workshops
Requirements of this position:
