Marketing/Business Development Internship Opportunity in GE Commercial Finance



Type: Full-time internship or at least 3-4 days a week

- Origination team (Leasing and Trade finance)
- Risk team
- Asia and China PR/Communication teams
- External vendors

Description

GE Commercial Finance is seeking for university students, with strong entrepre

neurship, predominant data analysis capability, excellent communication skills

and passion in financial services, to join Strategic Marketing team as intern

to help develop the fast growing China market.

In the role provided, the intern will gain invaluable exposure to different GE

Commercial Finance businesses/function, their product offerings, value propos

itions and client base. Meanwhile, the intern is expected to

· Understand the financial products provided by GE Commercial Finance China

· Be able to use different tools, databases to conduct market research includ

ing research on target companies, industries, competitors, etc.
· Use the research results to identify and prioritize potential vertical segm

ents’ customer needs and wants based on criteria agreed by marketing, sales a

nd risk management team
· Work with teams to enhance quality of market research using front-end feedb

ack, e.g. client details & contact strategies, prospect prioritization
· Support on market communication including advertising and market promotion

execution

Qualifications / Requirements

· Second-year Postgraduate students from top university with related major, e

xpecting to graduate in 2010
· Available to work at least 3-4 days per week for more than 6 months
· Exceptional analytical capability and clearing thinking
· Master user of PowerPoint and Excel
· Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
· Outstanding language skills both in Chinese and English, oral and written

· Ability to work under pressure / time management
· Quick learning capability and analytical mindset
· Experience in Financial services / consulting / market research preferred
